ORLANDO - The finishing touches are being applied to a multimillion-dollar
makeover of
Central Florida News 13, a
transformation designed to create a higher profile and more cable viewers for
the 24-hour,
Bright House Networks news channel.
New studios, located at Orlando's downtown ground zero -- the second floor of
the Wachovia Building, at 20 North Orange Ave. combine the latest in high-tech
electronic news wizardry with the colorful touch of an artist.
Art Director Adam Martinez, who has done a dozen similar designs for startups, worked with the FX Group in Ocoee to combine pleasing aesthetics with a practical, useful design. "Functionality is the key," he says. "Functionality first."
